DESCRIPTION:Good afternoon all I\'ve had an urgent request from the Senior
  Event Planner of the Ekka this afternoon. Please note the following messa
 ge: Unfortunately, one of our car clubs has had to withdraw from this year
 \'s Ekka Opening Day Parade, leaving a number of our Ekka Showgirls withou
 t a ride. We\'re hoping another club might be able to step in and help us 
 ensure these young women arrive in style.The Queensland Showgirl program h
 as been celebrating and developing young women from regional and rural com
 munities for more than 40 years, with finalists serving as ambassadors for
  their local areas and the agricultural show movement.We\'re looking for a
  minimum of 3-4 convertible vehicles, although we\'re happy to accommodate
  additional cars if there\'s enough interest.Event Details       Saturday
  August 8th Call Time: 7:30am (Old Museum) Driver Briefing: 8:00am Parade 
 Commences: 8:30am along Gregory Terrace Concludes: Approximately 9:10am Pa
 rade Length: 500m   The Opening Day Parade is one of the Ekka\'s most cele
 brated traditions, showcasing the spirit of the Show through our Showgirl
 s, major entertainment acts, international performers, musicians, Defence 
 Force marching bands, and other special guests. It attracts strong public 
 and media attention and is a fantastic opportunity to showcase your club a
 nd vehicles. As representatives of both your club and the Ekka, we\'re loo
 king for drivers who can provide a friendly and professional experience fo
 r our Showgirls. This role is a volunteer position, however, for those who
  are able to provide assistance, we can supply an entry ticket into the Ek
 ka to enjoy the event on the day.We\'re hoping to confirm a replacement cl
 ub by this Friday, so if your club may be interested, we\'d be incredibly 
 grateful to hear from you as soon as possible.  I\'ve spoken to the Ekka r
 epresentative, and she has confirmed that the street will be closed for th
 e drive, but she was unable to provide any advice as to what insurance cov
 er would be available, so if you are interested, I would strongly suggest 
 that you contact your car\'s insurer to discuss. Please contact me before 
 this Friday if you would like to be involved, or if you would like more in
