Mid-Week Club Run, BBQ Lunch & Garage Visit

Wednesday, 13 May 2026
9:00am - 3:00pm

Departing from Sid Bigg Park, Cnr Mudgeeraba Road & Old Coach Road, Mudgeeraba

When: Wednesday 13th May 2026 departing Sid Bigg Park, Mudgeeraba 0900 hrs sharp.

Where to: Ray & Fay's Heavenly Valley Farms 1065 Hinterland Way, Bangalow NSW.

We are organising a mid-week leisurely drive from Sid Bigg Park on the corner of Mudgeeraba Road & Old Coach Road Mudgeeraba (Where Club used to meet years ago) down Old Coach Road through the Tallebudgera Valley into the Currumbin Valley and cross the Currumbin Creek at Bains Road. (An old one lane timber bridge).

We then follow the Tomewin Mountain Road (State Border Rd) down into Murwillumbah and out to Uki for a coffee and pit stop for 30 mins.

Then drive to Stokers Crossing, then Burringbar, (on the Old Pacific Hwy) to Mullumbimby (on the Coolamon Scenic Drive) through Montecollum, Coorabell to St Helens Lookout on the corner of Hinterland Way overlooking Byron Bay in the distance.

It is then a short drive to 1065 Hinterland Way Bangalow to their Heavenly Valley Farms.

Total distance approx.. 129 kms with a leisurely drive time of 2hrs 15mins

This is a mid week leisurely scenic drive to Ray Hick Heavenly Valley Farm where Ray & Fay have kindly offered to cook a BBQ lunch on his beautiful wide veranda overlooking pastures and Bangalow's new housing development in the distance, followed by a guided tour of his newly renovated garages which house his many pristine vehicles.

We will aim to leave Sid Bigg Park Mudgeeraba at 0900 hrs sharp to miss any school traffic and we should be able to form a line of Healeys meandering along Old Coach Road and into NSW to Uki for our coffee & pit stop.

ETA Heavenly Vally Farm 1145 hrs in time for a 1200 noon lunch followed by a guided tour of Ray's collection.

Of course we will need to know numbers of interested members in advance so Ray & Fay can cater for the appropriate numbers.

Ray has offered to supply patties and sausages with a bread roll for $10.00 each person for lunch and attendees are requested to bring their own refreshments.

Make sure you bring cash for the lunch money.

Following lunch and the guided tour, members can make their way home north along the M1 from Bangalow to the Gold Coast and further north. Heading north from the Gold Coast should not be a traffic issue as most traffic will be travelling in the opposite direction at that time of the afternoon.

All interested members should confirm with Neil Tregea via ntregea@bigpond.com or mobile 0419 048 000 prior to the deadline of Friday 8th May 2026 if you wish to join the group for lunch.

So come on Club members, lets get our Healeys out of hibernation for a mid week drive and a looksee of Ray's newly renovated garages which are definitely worth visiting even if you have been there before. Lots of work has been performed that has completed changed the look of these garages.

Please contact Neil Tregea if you wish to join this Club run.
